Thermographic Imaging & Surveys
Using Thermograhic Imaging technology, it is possible to identify hot spots within electrical installations without the need to shut off the power. When combined with the Visual Inspection aspect of an Electrical Installation Condition Report this is a practical solution to obtain compliance where it not possible to isolate part or all of an installation. Alternatively, it can be used to compliment your existing testing programme of testing.
All work will be undertaken by City & Guilds qualified electrical engineers experienced in identifying faults, observations and defects in accordance with the “Institute of Engineering and Technology 17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671:2008 (2011).
Thermograhic imaging equipment can also be used for a host of other applications such as:
- Heat loss inspections of buildings
- Locate radiant heating wires or pipes
- Locate potential areas for mold growth
- Flat-roof leak detection for buildings
- Detect thermal patterns on boiler tubes
- Mechanical bearing inspections
